Learn cupping techniques to add to your bodywork and get great results for your clients. Cupping is very effective at releasing chronically tight muscles, and increasing lymph flow and blood circulation. It is easy on your hands while helping you to work deep into the tissues.
The class covers the use of both silicon and glass cups, and gua sha. You will have plenty of hands-on practice. Learn treatments for detoxification and address joint problems. By the end of the weekend, you will have a solid grasp of cupping techniques, and the confidence to know how and when to apply them. Help carry on this ancient healing tradition.
PREREQUISITE
No prerequisites or requirements. The class is open to all who wish to learn this technique.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
You will need to bring 8 mushroom style silicon cups of a variety of sizes to this class. The instructor recommends that you purchase the Cupping Warehouse brand on Amazon. See picture below. Do not bring vacuum cups. We will not use those at this class.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
This seminar is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworkers (NCBTMB) for 21 continuing education credits. NCBTMB #450308-06.
CERTIFICATION
Certification is available for Cupping Techniques l. If you wish to be certified, you may take a practical and written exam during class time. There is no additional cost for this certification.
