Introduction to Body Dialoging
Fri 1 pm – 9 pm
Sat & Sun 8 am – 5 pm
CST III emphasizes the exploration of somato-emotional work, boundaries and self work. In this class you will learn how to guide and support emotional healing. The emphasis is on safe and effective ways for you to help your clients build their own inner resources and use their creative imagination to work with their discomfort and pain. By teaching your clients how to listen to and work with their bodies, they can find relief and move forward in their lives.
As people experience difficult times or trauma, they often store memories of this in their cells and connective tissue. This stored memory can surface as pain or as emotional turmoil such as anxiety, depression or anger.
You will learn how to dialogue with clients to help them come to their own understanding and realization of what is stored in their bodies, allowing them to release what is stored. This is called a “client lead” technique and is very empowering for the client. Students learning this technique have found it provides a practical way to work with their clients and help them move through past difficulties. Emphasis is placed on practitioner and client safety.
